Are you looking in Zlín for a spiritual home with a modern approach and clear evangelical theology?
We are a community of Christians with our city and the people in it close to our hearts.
We are part of the CityChurch network, which connects communities around a vision for Czech cities, and legally and in our wider church relationships we belong to the established, state-registered evangelical church Křesťanské sbory (Christian Fellowship).
We believe in the full authority of Scripture and Jesus Christ, the power of prayer, and the importance of healthy growth for every disciple and life led by the Holy Spirit. We want to be a church that lives out the gospel in practice every day.
MOVE Values
1.We love God and people
Everything we do flows from our love for God. We love the people around us and welcome everyone, regardless of their past.
We believe God has the power to do great things. So we pray persistently and often. For each other, for our families, for the city, and for the church. We expect God to change lives and act powerfully among us.
We want to become more like Christ every day and we seek how God wants to move us forward. We work on ourselves, we want to learn, and we love positive change.
God has always been and always will be. He is the Creator of all things visible and invisible: matter, time, and eternity. He exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God loves every person without exception. His desire is relationship, not religion. God also tells us that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart and to love our neighbours as ourselves.
Each of us has sinned and been separated from God. No good deeds, religion, or morality can save us. We receive forgiveness and eternal life only through faith in Jesus Christ and sincere repentance.
4.We believe in Jesus Christ – God's Son and Saviour
Jesus is the Son of God who became human. He lived without sin, died on the cross for the sins of all people, and rose again on the third day. He lives and reigns as King today.
6.We believe in the Holy Spirit and the life of the church
The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer, transforms them, gives them strength for new life, and equips them for service to others. The church is Christ's body: a community of people who live out their faith together, love God, and serve the world.
Every person will exist forever. Either with God in heaven, or separated from Him. Jesus will return to judge the world and bring the fullness of His kingdom.
